Sam Smethers, Chief Executive of the Fawcett Society introduces Sam Walker, Equal Pay Campaigner & Coach. Sam is a former Co-op executive who has just won her equal pay and unfair dismissal claim after a 3 year battle. Sam joins Carrie Gracie, former BBC China Editor on stage at the Fawcett Society 2018 Annual Conference – Know Our Worth, to discuss her case. This year’s conference explored themes centred around fighting for women’s rights, challenging traditional models of leadership, and transforming communities through local activism.
